Remove vocals and keep the instrumental

FAQ

I can still hear some vocals — is that normal?
Yes. Center-channel cancellation removes only the dry vocal in the middle; reverb and backing vocals usually sit left and right and remain. Centered bass and drums also get weaker.
Does it work on mono songs?
No. A mono file has no left/right difference, so this method can’t separate the voice. Use a stereo song with the vocals in the center.
How does it compare with AI vocal separation?
It is not an AI stem separator. It is simple, fast and fully local, but not as clean as AI separation, especially on songs with heavy reverb.
Is my song uploaded to your server?
No. Vocal removal runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
