No. TutuAudio runs entirely in the browser — open the page and go, on phone and desktop.
Are my audio files uploaded? +
By default all editing (cut, denoise, transcribe) happens locally in your browser; audio is not uploaded. Only when you sign in for cloud save / multi-device sync is the project sent to your account.
Are the AI features free? +
Guests get a daily free quota to try denoise, transcription and other AI features; signed-in users get more. Quotas are configurable in the site backend.
Which formats are supported? +
Import supports MP3 / WAV / M4A / FLAC / AAC / OGG; export supports MP3 (128/192/320k) and lossless WAV.
Does transcription support Chinese? +
The local Whisper model transcribes Chinese, English and many languages with timestamps — locate audio like text and export SRT subtitles.
