Is this the same as Adobe Podcast Enhance?
No. Adobe Podcast uploads your audio and rebuilds the voice with an AI model in the cloud. This is a classic signal-processing chain (denoise, de-reverb, high-pass, compressor, limiter) that stays on your device, so it improves bad recordings less dramatically.
Can it rescue a voice recorded far from the phone?
Only partly. It reduces some echo and background noise and makes the voice louder, but it will not sound like a studio. The same goes for heavily distorted audio.
