No. Detection and cutting happen in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
Will it remove natural pauses and make the speech sound rushed?
If that worries you, choose Shorten pauses instead of Delete all. Long pauses become 0.3–0.6 s, so the speech still breathes.
My recording is noisy and silence isn’t detected well — what now?
With loud noise, the quiet parts aren’t really silent. Run noise reduction first, then remove silence.
Can I undo a cut?
Yes. You can preview before cutting, and undo step by step afterwards.
